Attorney Cristina M. Kerr of Bye, Goff & Rohde has been named as a Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ) Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer Award honoree. On December 8th, 2023, Attorney Kerr and other honorees was honored at the 2023 WAJ Presidents’ Dinner & Reception. This honor is a prestigious highlight in her decorated legal career.
When the WAJ announced the honorees for 2023, it remarked on Attorney Kerr’s many accomplishments and accolades, which played into her selection for the Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer Award. She had conducted 19 jury trials to verdict, which is more than many attorneys with more than twice her years in practice; she has secured a seven-figure verdict at the end of fiercely contested litigation; she has reached several settlements for clients that were more than double the original offer; she has litigated a case through appeal before the Wisconsin Supreme Court; and, she has completed multiple appellate briefs, including a Supreme Court petition.
Attorney Kerr’s accomplishments have caught more than the attention of the Wisconsin Association of Justice. In addition to her recent WAJ honor, she has been named among the “Best Lawyers: One to Watch 2024 for Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs” by Best Lawyers®. She was also named a Wisconsin Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ member in 2022 and 2023.
In 2017, Cristina graduated law school magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin. Shortly after in 2018, she joined Bye, Goff & Rohde as an associate attorney who was driven to prove herself and make a positive difference for clients across the state. As someone who was born and raised in Wisconsin, Cristina is passionate about representing locals. It is no surprise that only a few years later in 2022, Attorney Cristina M.
