Martha Heidt has over 20 years of litigation experience in Wisconsin’s circuit and appellate courts. Her experience includes drafting discovery, handling summary judgment motions, briefing coverage disputes, filing pretrial motions, and handling appeals.
Martha provides her expertise as litigation support for the attorney responsible for handling your claim. By having Martha as specially-designated research and legal writing specialist, Bye, Goff & Rohde assures the ability to put an additional experienced attorney on your team when it matters the most. This support is especially crucial in the weeks prior to trial when legal and evidentiary matters arise that must be dealt with in a short period of time.
Martha Heidt graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin. Her appellate experience includes briefing and oral arguments in both the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Martha is a member of the amicus curiae (friend of the court) committee for the Wisconsin Association for Justice. In that role, she is involved in the cutting-edge personal injury issues that define precedent for the lower courts.
Outside the office, Martha usually spends her time reading, bicycling, or riding her horse. She lives on a beef farm with her husband and visits her two adult children whenever possible.
