Cristina is a formidable force in the realm of personal injury law and has been recognized both locally and nationally for her work. In 2023, she was awarded the Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer of the Year Award by the Wisconsin Association for Justice, given to a single recipient each year who demonstrates a strong commitment to the honor and dignity of justice for the public good and the right to trial by jury. In 2024, Cristina was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to preserving and promoting the Seventh Amendment right to trial by jury.
In 2025, Cristina was invited to become a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession. ABF Fellows membership is by invitation only and is limited to only 1% of licensed attorneys nationwide.
Cristina's experience in personal injury law began when she joined BGR as a clerical assistant in 2012. She returned to the firm during law school as a law clerk, assisting attorneys with case preparation for trial. Cristina’s early exposure to litigation and trial work allows her to leverage her extensive experience to guide clients through complex legal processes, ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve.
Cristina attended law school at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude. She served on the Law Review senior board and was inducted into the Pro Bono Society. After law school, Cristina clerked for Chief Judge Edward J. Cleary at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Born and raised in Western Wisconsin, Cristina’s commitment to her community extends beyond her legal practice. She actively volunteers as an attorney coach for the River Falls High School Mock Trial program, inspiring young minds and fostering a love for the legal profession. When she’s not working or volunteering, Cristina enjoys spending time with her husband and rescue dogs, as well as pursuing an active lifestyle through strength training, hiking, kayaking, and skiing.
